Play It Forward Music Lessons 2025 - 2026

Thank you for taking the time to enroll your student in virtual or after school piano or guitar lessons.

Subject to availability, classes will begin with the new school year: September 2025, exact date to be determined with your teacher.

Monthly Billing & Lesson Information

Our organization is committed to making music education accessible to all families. To support this, we offer individualized lessons—either in person or virtual—on a sliding scale of $10 to $35 per lesson. Each family’s rate is agreed upon during enrollment. Scholarshps are available upon request.

Billing Process
Families will be billed once per month at the end of the month, based on the number of lessons completed at their agreed-upon rate. Teachers will track student attendance which will then be used for our billing process. This helps ensure that payment reflects the actual lessons received. Invoices will be sent electronically from travis@pifmusic.org and then processed via Stripe.

Scholarship Information
We are happy to make scholarships available.  Please contact your student's current PIF teacher or email travis@pifmusic.org for information regarding scholarships for your student.

Lesson Scheduling
Lesson times are coordinated between each family and their assigned teacher. We work to provide consistent weekly times whenever possible, while also allowing for flexibility to accommodate family and school schedules. Teachers will confirm lesson times directly with families and communicate any necessary adjustments in advance.

By participating in this program, families help support a community where every child can experience the joy and benefits of music, regardless of financial circumstance.

Family Commitment

We look forward to continuing to partner with you to support your student's musical journey. We ask that families join us in supporting their Play It Forward student by agreeing to:

1. Receive and maintain an instrument which will be delivered to your home for free
2. Ensure that your student attends weekly lessons by:
   • Supplying your child with a device (tablet or laptop) and a quiet room to do their lessons from OR
   • Transporting your child to weekly lessons at the agreed upon time and location
3. Ensure that your student plays their instrument at home at least 3 times per week

Optional Lesson Supplies Fee

We are asking families to pitch in for lesson supplies at the beginning of the year: $25 dollars covers the cost of lesson books, supplemental music, staff paper, pencils, and other classroom teaching tools. Contributions can be made on a sliding scale, so please select the amount that best suits your budget for the school year at the end of the registration form.
